Mailing Date Rules
This section contains the following fields:
Rule Description - This
field displays the description of the rule as defined by the user or the
system
administrator.
Rule Type - This field displays a list
of ODEN defined rule types. To
make a selection, click on the down arrow and choose from the dropdown
list, or scroll down to the desired entry and press the tab key.
Once a rule type is selected, the MM/DD field
will appear. Enter the specific date in the MM/DD format. (For example:
12/25)
The following is a list of rule types:
| Rule Type | Description |
| Single Occurrence | This rule type invalidates a mailing date for one specific date. (For example: 12/31/2003.) |
| Recurring Date | This rule type invalidates a mailing date that reoccurs. (For example: 12/25 Christmas Day) |
| Nth day of the week in month | This rule type invalidates a mailing date the same day of the month each year. (For example: 4th Thursday in November each year) |
| Day(s) of week | This rule type invalidates a mailing date the same date each week. (For example: Saturday each week) |
