Adding Users
Users
To Add a new User
click on Add New and complete the following fields:
Login ID - This
field contains the name of the login ID being created. This is the ID
the user needs to log into Policy Terminator®.
User Type - This
field contains the user type and rights being associated with the user
and can be chosen from a dropdown list.
Password - This field contains the password
assigned to the login ID. This is the password the user needs to log into
Policy Terminator®.
User First Name - This
field contains the first name of the user.
User Last Name - This field contains the
last name of the user.
User E-mail - This field contains the e-mail
of the user. (optional)
User Phone Nbr - This field contains the
phone number of the user. (optional)
Account Expiration Date - This field contains
the date the user ID expires. See note below.
Password Expiration Date -
This field allows an administrator to force a password change on the specified
date. Clicking on the 'Expire Password' link inserts today's date into
the Password Expiration Date field resulting in a forced change of password
upon the user's next login.
Note: Accounts or passwords with no expiration date never
expire. However, accounts or passwords with an expiration date inactivate
on the specified date. If a user attempts to login using an expired account
they are denied access to the system.
