page contains the following fields:
Policy Number - This
field is required for all notice types except Refusal
to Write or
Freeform and has a maximum length of 40 characters. Note:
The policy number must be blank in order to issue a Refusal to Write notice.
Fetch Data - This option is a feature that
provides the client with the ability to implement a custom dynamic fetch
of policy information from a remote data source, such as a policy management
system.
Applicable State - This
field contains the state in which the laws apply. This may or may not
be the same as the mailing state of the first named insured. It is typically
the state in which the insured property is located or the state of domicile.
Policy Type - Policy
Terminator® is preloaded with common policy types. Your
System
Administrator or any other user with Data
Setup-Policy Type rights may edit this list of policy types. The Policy
Type maintenance page can be accessed through the Utilities menu or by
clicking on the folder iconnext
to the Policy Type field on the Policy Information page. The folder icon
is visible only in Edit Mode.
Note: Not all policy types are available in
all states. In the event that you select a policy type that is not allowed
in a particular state, you will receive a warning and the policy type
will be reset to "Not Selected".
Notice Status - Displays
the most recent action taken on the policy record. Once a notice is generated,
the notice status field will show the last type of notice that was generated.
